From the Desk of Mrs. Hobik

Dear Parents/Guardians:

May the peace of the Christ Child be with you!

Here we are, entering another year with newly made resolutions and new beginnings.  Along with the birth of the Christ Child, I find the New Year giving birth to hope for better things to come.  As a school community we profess to “Be the Peace” and there is no better time than the New Year to practice this.  Let us “Be the Peace” in hopes of making a difference with one “good work” at a time.

If you have not done so, please visit our new website.  You can access it at the same URL address:  I hope you find it user friendly and containing pertinent information to assist you during the course of the school year.  There are additional features that will be utilized as we become more familiar with all of its components.  I ask that you visit it frequently to get current information especially with calendar events.

Registration has opened to new families this past week.  If you have not done so and have intentions to return for the next school year, please make sure that you submit your registration form and deposit.  Some classes are beginning to fill and we want to make sure that you have your child enrolled in their class.

At the end of the month, we will begin to celebrate Saint Margaret School during Catholic Schools Week, January 27 through February 2.  Information with all of our liturgies/prayer services, events and celebrations will be posted on our website and emailed to our families.  Please watch for this information and join us in celebrating Saint Margaret School.

Thank you to everyone who assisted with this year’s Christmas Programs.  This year was truly a “group effort.”  It’s always a highlight of the school year for me when we come together to celebrate the birth of Baby Jesus through the eyes and voices of our children.

With the cold weather upon us, we ask that you are very mindful of our arrival and dismissal procedures.  The students will be “bundled up” and quickly wanting to access the buildings.  I ask that you are vigilant to ensure the safety of the students.  Please respect the directives of the faculty/staff who are out on duty and our arrival/dismissal procedures so that the flow of traffic goes smoothly and everyone is safe.

May you and yours be abundantly blessed throughout the New Year with the joy, peace and love of the Christ Child.

In His name and for His children,

Madeleine M. Hobik
