Knott Foundation Grant Award to Saint Margaret School

Knott Foundation Grant Award to Saint Margaret School

We are pleased, honored, and humbled to announce that Saint Margaret School has been awarded a $100,000 grant from the Marion I. & Henry J. Knott Foundation to help fund the upcoming heating and air conditioning project for the Primary Building on the Elementary School campus.  This grant will support our project to upgrade and replace our boilers and heating distribution system and install central air-conditioning throughout the entire building.  Students will benefit from improved air quality and appropriately regulated temperatures throughout the year.

The Marion I. & Henry J. Knott Foundation is a Catholic family foundation committed to honoring their founders’ legacy of generosity to strengthen our community. Henry and Marion Knott were incredibly dedicated to two things: their family and their surrounding community of Baltimore. In 1977, they started the Foundation as a way of joining their two passions. Today, the Knott Foundation continues as a family-run philanthropic venture that strives to strengthen communities in central and western Maryland while preserving the Knott legacy of giving.

Saint Margaret School is extremely grateful to the Knott Foundation for their generosity and vested interest in Saint Margaret’s students and school.
