PowerSchool

Welcome to PowerSchool Parent Access. This portal allows parents to keep current with their child's progress by viewing grades online. After viewing this document, please request your child's Web ID and Access password using this document. You will need this information to set up your account. Print, sign, and return the disclaimer to the school office when finisheddisclaimer to the school office.  The information needed to add your student to your account will be sent home so that you can begin using the system. Parents can set up a username and password to add their students to Parent Access with a single login.  Here is the link to PowerSchool’s Parent Access.https://archbalt.powerschool.com.

If you need to add a child to an existing account, please see the document How to Add a Student to an Existing Account.

Grades Pre 4-8th will use Parent Access to select communication methods (Phone, SMS texting, and Email) and edit contact information in Alert Solutions via Parent Access.  Please note that in many cases, St. Margaret only communicates by email, so email should always be selected.  Alert Solutions is integrated with the existing PowerSchool Parent Portal.  If you log on to the Parent Portal, you will now see a new link called “Alert Solutions 2”.  You will be able to see all the contact information our school has listed for you. Within this section of the Parent Portal, you can choose your communication preferences based on message categories, such as School Closures or Attendance, and message type (email, voice, and/or text message).  You may opt out of any message category except for Emergency Messages.  If you had in the past or currently have a Parent Access account, please view this 2-page PDF file about Alert Solutions.

3rd-8th grade parents can view all their children’s grades through Parent Access. Teachers would like to remind parents that they should look at more than the subject area averages shown in the Quick Look-Up section.   Click on the “grade average” to review all graded assignments, effort, and conduct grades.  Although effort and conduct do not affect the grade average, they do impact Honor Roll eligibility.  It is best to catch any problems with homework completion or class participation early in the trimester since they will be calculated in the effort grade.

The District Code to download the mobile app is PJQM
